Ready Scout specializes in site- and region-specific algae control through the safe and responsible use of aquatic herbicides, algaecides, and nutrient inactivation products to help you be good stewards of your lake’s ecosystem and your lake community. Regular monitoring includes parameters such as temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and nutrient levels to help evaluate conditions for plant and animal life. It can also help detect harmful algal blooms early, and detailed underwater mapping and analysis can optimize treatments while reducing chemical use by 20% to 40%.

Aeration System Design & Installation

Ready Scout provides submersed aeration system design, installation and maintenance, focusing on diffused air injection systems to circulate and oxygenate the water column from top to bottom. Effective aeration can also reduce stratification, helping improve water quality and habitat conditions for fish and other aquatic organisms. Types of aerators include:

Lake Luzerne

Mountain Lake

Mountain Lake is a manmade lake and has had issues with low oxygen levels and Harmful Algal Blooms for many years. Under the guidance of Glenn Sullivan, we had a Vertex HF3 XL2 Aeration System installed in the swimming area of our lake and the results have been outstanding. The water is clearer, cleaner and much more inviting. Families who have been coming to our beach for generations have said the water has never looked better.
